Hello everyone,

Is the ADEA dental schools secondaries portion all correct? The only two schools that I see listed (that I am applying to) that require a secondary with the apps are UNLV and Creighton.

I am applying to 24 schools... does anyone know any others that require something that is not listed on this sheet?

Thanks for your help. I have been goign through websites but sometimes am not sure where to look....

Wow 24 schools!

I don't know which you applied to but i applied to 6:
Nova, Stony Brook, Buffalo, NYU, Columbia, & New Jersey.

All of which i had to send in a supplemental fee and some sort of supplemental, like a 2x2 photo, or transcript directly from your school, and i forgot but one of the schools i had to fill out a supplemental application. I just read through AADSAS and did as it said. I also called up schools to see the status of my application and make sure everything is in order, if something was missing i immediately sent it out or got it done.

Were these required prior to them reviewing your app? Sorry my Q was unclear, and I Just realized tthis....

I meant do they require a Supp BEFORE they even look at your app?

I know that creighton and UNLV say it on the aadsas form...

Yes 24 schools! I know it's crazy, but my Application won't be mailed until oct 6, and so I didnt want to take my chances with applying too late and leaving out schools I may have had a chance at / not realizing some schools were already done considering applicants!!
My parents also agreed to fund my applications (not sure how happy they are about that agreement after seeing the costs though!!! ha ha)

Hey dentgirl,

Creighton and UNLV like the supp application right away. Most other schools will notify you to send it in. If you have a predents profile linked here or if you want to list all the schools I can tell you the ones I know of that have a secondary.

Hey. Don't have a predents but here they are:

BU, Case, Midwestern, NYU, Temple, OSU, tufts, BUF, detroit, Pitt, UoP, VCU, WVU, Arizona, Creighton, Howard, Marquette, UMD, UNJDS, Mich, UNLV, USC, Indiana, Louisville.

Geez sl2op... (rest of your name ha, ha) You got hella interviews! Congrats!! Hope I can see those soon enough.

Anyone think its too late if my primaries are getting MAILED oct 6th? I have heard a few of those schools wont even start reviewing til mid oct... hoping that helps out. I guess I am gonna have to haull *** on getting my secondaries in.

my angry boss @ full time job + $$$

everyday i skip work, I lose $250, and pbb more for air fairs and hotel fees.

btw, there are secondaries for temple, arizona as well.

I have serached for the Temple Secondary and cannot find it on their webpage. Are you sure that ti is due along with the AADSAS when you submit aadsas? Also, for ASDOH i have heard of rejections before the secondary is even filled out.... should I fill it out anyway??

Temple will send you a secondary in the mail once they have processed your application (will probably take like a month since you're just finishing your AADSAS. For ASDOH, I would wait for them to send you a supplemental b/c they will probably ask you to pay the supplemental fee at the same time, but not positive on that.
