I just feel so apprehensive and anxious, I want to know already. I'm an average student with mostly Bs and a few Cs but I definitely have a passion for pharmacy. I feel very confident with my essay which describes my academic and career path and why I chose pharmacy. (also doing a career change from nursing to pharmacy) I currently work in hospital pharmacy and have been in the pharmacy field since 2007 and I know all the pharmacists I work with would give me great references but of course that would be overkill. I know references from the workplace is one and then from your professors is very different. I had tried to get a letter from my biochem teacher but since I got a B in lecture and C in lab should didn't feel comfortable. Never thought that would happen. Thank fully I was able to get one from my orgo2 teacher who works at the school I want to go to as well. So now I'm just about to start my last prereq, calculus, and I'm hoping that they feel comfortable enough to give me an interview now that I have put my biochem grades through and all their missing is my calculus one. And to add to that my pcat score was in the 25th percentile so I don't I'm thinking my gpa speaks more highly of me.

What makes you stand out, what makes you unique? If your grades aren't pulling you through, you've got to do more volunteer work, leadership, shadow. Show them you mean business. My cumulative is a 3.0 but my science is a 3.75 and I got into my school of choice. However I also was heavily involved in student orgs, worked in a pharmacy, and had shadow and volunteer work. My PCAT was a 61, nothing special. But I was a well rounded candidate. I would take the PCAT again - it would show dedication. What about your gen chem or bio professors? That's who I used. Good luck!
