MCAT- 9 PS, 9 BS, 13 VR
i have been an active volunteer EMT since 2006
I have worked as a paid athletic trainer for the last two summers
I have shadowed an MD for one day of surgery and one day of office visits
I Have shadowed in an ER for 10 hours
I have excellent letters of Rec from 4 professors at my college
I have 2 years as a varsity NCAA athlete
I have founded and am currently president and captain of club lacrosse at my school
I have an upward trend in my GPA (recently a 3.33 and a 3.5) from a crappy first two years.
I will have a minor in spanish
i will be shadowing a DO in the next few weeks

I am open to go anywhere. i want to do family practice or emergency medicine so i would even consider applying to carribean schools. Any suggestions as to where i should apply?

anybody? 40odd views and no responses...

i also am completely confident that all i need is an interview and i will be good from there. probably my strongest selling point is my ability to communicate with assertion.

Your best shot will be at DO schools, but I am not the best person to advise you on where to apply. Have you retaken any classes so as to invoke the AACOMAS grade forgiveness policy and get your GPAs higher (credit hours must be th same or greater to qualify)?

Hopefully the DO is in primary care, as that is a missing element from your shadowing.
