Hey guys,
I was going through my AMCAS today and found like 3-4 typos, but none were in my Personal Statement, MD/PhD essay and research essay thankfully. They are scattered throughout my work/activities section. How do adcoms feel about that stuff? Is it the end of the world? Am I never getting into medical school, let alone an MD/PhD? I would expect they would be somewhat lenient...hopefully :-/

Look at it from the perspective of the adcoms. Just think, you had all the time in the world to proof it and make sure it was correct. If you really wanted to go through with your goals, you'd have made sure it was perfect before submitting. Now put yourself in the O.R., where you don't have unlimited time to make fast, correct, decisions without being sloppy. I think this might show them that you might not be cut out to be a physician due to the limited margin for error. Maybe add some D.O. schools and correct the app.......🙄

Kidding, no big deal unless you spelled "felt" as "f***" or something like that.

Wow man, you really had me going until the last line. That was so not funny. Ok, I still laughed, but I almost crapped in my pants. Haha
