3.44 Gpa!

Im freaking out a bit, because I know how competitive Dental Schools are getting. I have a 3.45 GPA, mainly because of a few courses required by my current University. My science GPA is around 3.52. How do dental schools perceive such a GPA?

I see nothing wrong wiht 3.45......... just get a decent dat score and you should be good

I had about a 3.45...3.8 BCP though and a nice DAT...you should be ok...

Your GPAs are certainly competitive for many schools, but not all. Look into where you want to apply, what their average GPA is, and most importantly, how much weight they put on it. Best of luck!

sorry bud. a 3.46 cumulative/3.53 sci gpa is the absolute cutoff at all schools regardless of dat. your file wont be looked at. Better think post-bacc.

You should be fine. Just do well on the DAT.👍

People with lower GPAs get in all the time. You will be competitive with an 18+ DAT in my opinion.

Geez, you're kinda in trouble there. I would recomend that you give up your hope and dreams, it's over man. It's game over and you no longer got any more quaters for extra gameplay. :/


Kidding! Seriously though? You're fine. I mean, you're not hitting any over-acheiver or gunner status anytime soon, but you're no toad in a well either. You'll be fine, just find some decent schools and don't mess up in your DAT.

Anyways, You shouldn't be freakin out OP about your GPA, just be freakin out about getting like a 21 on your DAT to make you stand out. I don't even know who the hell I am to give advice, what the hell do I know... I'm going to bed.
