Have been doing research from november up to now.

Have one publication to the journal of chemical education (my name is only one out of 20 other names in the author section)

Did 2 weeks of shadowing

one semester internship at ER (basically shadowing doctors, but was able to communicate with patients and sometimes bring them water or extra blanket). I'm still doing this once a week

Volunteered at a nonprofit clinic as an assistant to the pharmacist for 3 consecutive summers.

Have honor roll, dean's list

Coached martial arts for one summer

Apply widely and do lots more ECs during the year (and send updates). Might also want to take some courses to get that gpa upto a 3.5. You have a chance.

Bust out some more EC's. You want to be able to build a theme through your application and getting some more volunteering/shadowing will be incredibly helpful in doing that and giving you something to speak meaningfully about.
