Hi there, I come from a top 10 undergrad but unfortunately due to coming from a low income area high school had a terrible first semester due to lack of study skills (which i take responsibility for) but have worked hard to get almost all As since then. However, I want to know how much my ECs can possibly help me assuming I get a good MCAT score.

First, I am a female/URM/1st generation citizen (parents from mexico) but one parent has a tech degree and another a master's (don't know how much that affects things)

For a broad overview (all of these experiences have been for at least a year):

Army ROTC (large part of undergrad experience; have participated in things like ranger challenge, army 10 miler team, etc)
Dance Team (cheer/perform at games for basketball/football and attend nationals, leadership position)
Founded own club dedicated to disability awareness (recognized by the university, raise funds for summer camp scholarships; will be starting a program for kids on campus next semester; have gotten over 100 members in less than a year; founder and president)
Research since freshman year (publication in the works) + summer internship with poster and abstract publication
Shadowing
ER volunteer
Volunteering with community in spanish in various settings
Teach dance to low income kids in area

For reference, my "story" centers around my sister having a disability and how that made me become interested in scientific inquiry - also the reason I started the club on campus
