Hello Everyone! I am applying this 2021/2022 cycle and I just need help making a school list for schools outside of Texas. This is just in case I don't get in anywhere in my state. I have looked at MSAR but it doesn't really tell me if my chances are good in some schools due to extraneous factors such as ties to the state and whatnot. Because of this, I would like some help on some realistic MD and DO schools to apply to with my stats.

1. 3.75 cGPA, 3.74 sGPA
2. MCAT: 508 (129/122/128/129)
3. Ethnicity: Asian
4. State: Texas
5. Clinical experience: Hospital volunteer for 100 hours (had to stop due to COVID)
6. Research experience: 1300 hours at my university experimenting with vagus nerve in rat brains. No publications.
7. Shadowing: 50 hours with a plastic surgeon
8. Non-clinical volunteering: Currently volunteering with the red cross and a food bank for underserved communities ~ 120 hours total
9. Leadership: Vice President of mental health club at my school and had some leadership experience in my research training new members
10. LORs: Physician I shadowed, 2 Science professors, 1 non-science professor, and research PI.

Thank you very much! So will all the MD schools, that I'm competitive for, that you didn't mention going to reject me? According to MSAR I'm competitive for about 15+ MD schools outside of my state

OOS MD schools interview few Texas applicants since they know from years of experience that Texas applicants will attend a Texas school. Exceptions are former residents, URM, those who attended undergraduate school in the state and high stat applicants.
