Retake the MCAT. It's the only way.

I got a 3 in verbal (I too was shocked) and after talking to a few adcoms I realized that my only option was to retake. The rest of my applications is good except for my verbal score. Even as an URM with high MCAT sciences, they told me I AT LEAST need a 7 in verbal to be competitive.

With a VR that low, you have to re-take the MCAT. I can't any school accepting you.

Alright so here is my list, and I feel only MCAT score is my most detrimental sore spot. (9/4/9) I have no idea what happened in VR...these are my other stats...

3.75 CUM, 3.7 SCI
Study abroad experience in Croatia in public health.
3 months Volunteer work for Hurricane Katrina
700 hour internship in cathlab
Volunteered for 2 weeks at a camp with kids with cardiac abnormalities
Research Experience in Histology (pending publication)
Student Teacher for Cardiovascular Technology
Currently work at Mayo Clinic in Rochester as a Cardiac Tech
Have extremely good letters of Recomendation form physicians and professors.

Carribean is out of the question. I do feel I interview well. Advice?
