I have a 3.78 overall gpa and a 3.5 scientific gpa, but this is for general chemistry. I will take organic chem, physical chem, biochem, next year and i hope to improve my science gpa. I also hope to get a high mcat score. If I have strong research experience, have done hospital shadowing, good LoR, played club soccer at highest level and have been playing for 6 years straight, do you think I can get into a top 30 med school?

So, if I have a lower GPA and a higher MCAT but with good extracurriculars, research, volunteering, etc. can I get into a top 20-30 med school?

Bring up your science GPA and pick schools wisely (as in, have some mid tier schools and safety schools). But you should have a good shot if your sGPA improves..
