with only a 30 MCAT and no research, the top tiers would be out of reach. i dont want to be harsh, but applying to schools like stanford, harvard, and WashU without research and a 30 MCAT will not lead to desirable results.

however, you do have a strong app overall and will get into medical school. just don't put any faith in the top tiers.

That's what I thought. I'll probably just throw a couple Ivy's in there as dream schools. No harm in that I guess. Thanks for the input though!

Agreed that your list is very top-heavy. You should apply to more schools, especially those with lower matriculant MCAT averages. You may as well apply to a couple of dream schools, you never know who might end up liking your application, but make sure that you also apply to >15 schools with lower averages, and lesser requirements for research (something that most top-tier schools will expect to see).

Obviously, your GPA is stellar so you don't have to worry about that.

The bolded are schools that you will have trouble with just based on your lack of research and sorta low (BUT STILL GOOD!) MCAT. Remember, the name of the game isn't "get into a top medical school", it's "get into medical school". These are all pretty research oriented schools, and you aren't showing that you are a good match without any research (and maybe you aren't a good match!). I don't mean to condescend - I'm the same way, and I didn't get any love from research intensive schools either, so you want to make sure these schools don't make up the bulk of your list. Think about adding some non top-50 schools into the mix.

Your application is pretty solid otherwise, but I would maybe try to make yourself stand out in any way possible. Pretty much every applicant will have volunteered, have some leadership title in some organization, and have decent scores (yours are certainly above average, so congrats!), but nothing in your resume really stands out from the crop. I sometimes believe that adcoms get "bored" by seeing the same old applicant over and over again in the cycle, so I think you might have a bigger chance of being looked over than someone who stands out a little bit more.

I agree with the above posters that have said that you are applying too top-heavy and to poor-fit schools. I've bolded the schools that in my opinion you have a fair shot at. Missouri and Minnesota may have averages close to your numbers, but remember these institutions are very in-state selective. Even Loyola and Creighton are reaches in my opinion because of their desire for applicants with long-standing commitments to community service. USC is going to be tough because Cali is crazy competitive.
