Wanting to know my chances.

3.90 GPA from my American post-bac program. 519 on MCAT. Earned my undergrad and Masters in chemistry at a prestigious university in the U.K. AMCAS doesn't accept my foreign earned credits, so post-bac GPA is all I have. Decided late in the game to apply to medical school, so am now a year out, have finished my post-bac, and am working this year in clinical research. Have limited shadowing hours (20ish) and community clinic volunteering with an underserved community (30ish hours), but this should be bolstered by my new role. Have also interned with a medical startup, and am about to start mentoring an underserved youth. Was also active as captain in a sport in my undergrad school.

School list:
UCSF
UVA
Emory
Vanderbilt
Wake Forest
Johns Hopkins
Stanford
USC Keck
Colorado
U Chicago
Northwestern
NYU
Columbia
Cornell
Yale
Harvard
Tufts

I think you can keep a lot of those schools, but you're going to have to trim if you're not an American citizen. Only 64 schools accept international applicants. While your stats are good, your ECs are weak - you're going to have to either wait a while and buff them up or target more mid tier schools. Purchase MSAR and target schools with a median MCAT of 34-36 (514-518 new scale). UCSF, Harvard, Stanford, Hopkins, and Yale are probably out of reach for you right now due to your ECs. They are going to care about your lack of research specifically (along with schools like Columbia, UChicago, etc) but all of these schools are going to care about your lack of clinical experience. I would say, if you're trying to get into any medical school, up your clinical experience and don't focus on the research. If you want a top school, then you're going to have to augment both a lot.

Thanks all! I appreciate the feedback. I forgot to add in that I have a Master's thesis that comprised my entire Master's year...as far as research goes, does this count toward it? @WedgeDawg I should be good to go on clinical hours through my new job. From my list, where do you think I would be particularly competitive? @Goro would love to see a longer list if you have a chance.

thanks @Goro. This is a great list. I forgot to add that I applied this cycle. So far I have one interview from one of those listed schools. No rejections yet, but also no word from any of the other schools. I'm feeling like I should prepare to be a re-applicant. I will need to think through how I can strengthen my app for next year.

Service to others less fortunate than yourself is always good.

List is too high. You have to make sure the school's you are applying to will accept international bachelors with enough post bac credits. I don't think all schools will be open to that. You also need to up your direct patient contact and volunteering.
Aim a tad bit lower, call schools to confirm they would take someone with a us post bac but an intl bachelors and volunteer more touching actual patients.

Thanks for the advice/guidance. Looking at this list, think there's ANY shot of getting another II from one of these schools? Trying to figure out when to give up haha.

I mean, this app season is still going on you may receive a II and get admitted. Who knows.

That list is just really a top 20 list with a random wake thrown in. Your stats are there but your ECS seem short on volunteering and the intl degree is a wild card that schools may not know what to think of and may be a headache for them. How many credits did you get in the post bac ? Did you complete all pre-reqs at the post bac?

Fair enough. I got all pre-reqs done during my post bac. Working on volunteering. Overall, basically trying to understand if I should reapply next year or wait a few years.

I would get enough volunteering done, and then apply broadly. I know your stats are amazing, but the UK degree and ECS are what is holding you back imho. I would call some of the school's you are applying to and ask them about the intl degree. I would also make an effort to apply to schools that matriculate a good number of intl students.
