Just a question of personal interest: How does UoP get away with graduating dentists in 3 years when it takes every other school 4?

They go summers and take more classes than normal I believe.

I know that at most schools you can be "done" in under 4 years. The last 2 years is mostly clinical work at traditional 4 year programs, so if you work quickly you can be done faster. You can't graduate, but you are done with your requirements. I imagine the students just work their tails off.

They way we get it done is by cramming 2 years at any other dental school (pre-clinical and basic sciences) into 1 year, and then having 2 normal years of clinical education (Just like any other dental school).

CODA has never had a problem with our program, and we fly through every accreditation, our students have no trouble passing licensing exams (98% passed WREB last year IIRC)
