I missed 4 questions on topscore organic chem and ended up with a 21. Now this is really making me scared. First of all, I'm a firm believer that 30 questions don't represent jack s*** about your actual knowledge + 2-3 months spent studying, but that's not the big deal. The big deal here is adcoms love jacking off to your scores, and if I got a 19 on ochem just from missing 1 or 2 extra questions I usually made ..... that'd screw me up hard. So my question is ... is the score range dependent on all students taking DAT that day/month?? Is there an already fixed range to it? I'm very nervous about this :/

From what I understand, the percentiles are affected by how other people did on the same version of the test. However, I don't think there's a direct relationship between score and percentile.

Don't worry about how many you can get wrong, just do your best to get as many right. Yes, there are correlations to how other students do to your percentile and how many questions you answer correctly to your score, but it's completely irrelevant and something pointless to worry about. Just concentrate on studying.
