Score went up a month later without studying anything more after first attempt. Shows how much one test can vary from the next.

ECs: Average as hell. Some clinical volunteering, some hobbies, some shadowing, some clubs, and biomechanic research, 4-5 LOR's, currently working on a publication.

AMCAS/AACOMAS - SUBMITTED

I've applied to currently 17 DO schools and will apply to a few more MD schools as well. I don't care if I get into MD or DO; just want to be a physician here haha. For MD should I even attempt mid-tier schools or just go for low tiers. Any medical school is a medical school for me, just need to get in ONE. 🙂 what are mah chances?

What is your state? Come up with a preliminary list for us.

Your best bet is lower tier MD schools. You should be good for DO.

Unfortunately, you are very average, and very average applicants don't get accepted too often. If you get published, that will be a nice card in your hand, but nothing that'll significantly change your prospects.

Focus on lower-end MD schools and DO programs.
