1. cGPA = 3.59 (major upward trend, COVID + Orgo was a bad combo) sGPA = 3.50 (also upward trend)
2. MCAT = 508 (127/126/129/126)
3. State of residence = NY with MAJOR ties to FL
4. Ethnicity and/or race = Chinese (adopted)
5. Undergraduate institution or category = NY state school
6. Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer) = 100 hours volunteer scribing/med assist in private practice OB/GYN, projected 250+
7. Research experience and productivity = clear cell sarcoma research in regionally well known cancer hospital ~200 hours
8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented = 40 hours across radiology sub specialties, 10 hours endocrinology, 20 hours OB/GYN
9. Non-clinical volunteering = Crisis text line ~150 hours
10. Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc) = student assistant in study abroad office (300+ hours), founding Vice President of schools forensic science club, standardized patient at local medical school, powerlifting comps
11. Relevant honors or awards = Dean’s list
12. Anything else not listed you think might be important = n/a feel free to ask for any additional information

Ideally you need person-facing experience with non-clinical volunteering, which I don't think a crisis text line provides (as much). Typical service orientation activities include food distribution, shelter work, job placement services, transportation services, and housing rehabilitation. You need 150 hours or else you risk being eliminated before interview.
