Could use help to decide how competitive I would be at mid/upper mid-tier schools.

MCAT: 31R (9VR/12PS/10BS)
sGPA 3.75 (graduated with honors if it makes a difference)
Ivy League Institution

EC's
*Team Recruitment Chair for RFL - helped recruit largest ever Relay for Life in School history.
*100+ Hours Volunteer/Exercise Instructor at Free Clinic - helped the clinic receive a $25,000 grant for the exercise and wellness program.
*1 year Lab research experience - wrote honors thesis on subject (no publications)
*1 summer of volunteer clinical research
*Shadowed both ER and Ortho doctors for a combined 50+ Hours
*1 summer working for a commercial investment management company - promoted to lead intern, managing 12 other student interns
*2 years (about 1 hour every other week) tutoring elementary school students
*Coordinator of a mentor program aimed at helping URM
*TA for Orgo and Bio
*Divison 1 athlete with a few awards/recognition
*Produce Music in my spare time

I could really use your opinions if my EC's could make me competitive at upper/mid tier schools (even though my MCAT score is sub-par). My current school list is as follows:

Pritzker
Vanderbilt
Mount Sinai
Case Western
UVA (resident)
NYU
Rochester
Albert Einstein
Rush
VCU (resident)
VT (resident)
Jefferson
New York Medical College
Temple
Rosalind Franklin Chicago

SLU is a upper-mid tier school that is OOS friendly and that you would be competitive for.

Thanks I will definitely be sure to add them. Should I bother with top tier?

Though your Division I and other ECs are great, I think 7/15 of your schools are semi-reaches because they're top tier. Consider taking a few out and adding schools like SLU as mentioned earlier, or add a few more in your MCAT/GPA range. You can try Arizona(they're accepting 50% OOS this year, though that number can be deceiving - if you look at the MSAR data, many times a school can have 1/2 matriculants from OOS but the # of OOS applicants is still high and the %interviewed from that could be low), MCWisconsin, Penn State, and sorry I'm not familiar with Virginia schools but make sure you include all state schools.

Edit: I have a 3.65/30 and put Einstein down as a reach, as our MCAT falls in their 10-20% percentile. So this means your first 8 are potential reaches.

Top tier is probably a waste of money since your MCAT is low for those schools and your GPA is good but not outstanding for them either. You could throw a few apps out there toward the top 20's, but don't be surprised if they take your secondary fee and send a rejection as soon as your check clears.
