Interviews are at Suny Upstate, Stony Brook, and Hofstra. All upcoming, roughly within the next month. 80 hours volunteering in hospital, around 100 hours shadowing. No research. Chances? All depends on interview performance? I guess statistically speaking I have over a 50% chance of getting accepted to med school at this point?

Decent chances since you are a NY resident.

A rough rule of thumb I have is that one actually has to work at bombing an interview, so I think the odds are in your favor that you'll land an acceptance. Congrats on the IIs, and good luck!

Your odds are better than 50% because you are interviewing at 3 schools. There will be a significant number of interviewees at each school who will eventually withdraw their applications when they are accepted at another school.

Interviews are usually about 50/50 once you get them. So, your chances, statistically, are around 87.5%
Oh nice, I was under the impression that chances of getting into any particular school you interview at were 30%.

Most schools it's about 50/50. They don't want you to waste their time and they don't want to waste your time and money. There are some schools that interview way more candidates than they need to, but they are more the exception than the rule.

3 IIs is a good amount; as long as you are competent in your interviews chances are you will be fine.
