p<<0.001, actually. SPSS gave me a readout of "p<0.000" so whatever that means....![]()

This is why we need an official NIST approved sarcasm font for the internet. I thought my crappy smiley face would give off the jestful tone but I guess it didn't.
"smiley face"?! How is that even anything remotely close to a "face"? Much less a "smiley face"?!
I guess you're right. Now that I look more closely at it. It does resemble a Nazi Swastika . . .

I'll be sure to be more careful next time.
If it makes you feel better apu. I my self am a dirty ayrab . . .
lol... I just don't see how that resembles much of....anything. Just looks like a random bunch of characters to me.
Lol, I guess you can see it that way as well. I guess that's why they sue rorschach tests.
Well here is what I see < > are head phones
( ) the two sides of the face
^^ the two eyes
and the comma , is the $hit eating grin

haha, k, now I see it. I was thinking the < > were ears w/ the ^ ^ being eyes (like something anime-ish) and I figured the mouth was supposed to be the "," but it's just not quite big enough... but cool
Perception fail.

Don't worry about him, I have noticed in my short foray into the premedical forum, that people are extremely rude on the internet and say things that they would never dare say to you in person unless they knew you real well. The false sense of anonymity provides the necessary means for disinhibition of social norms. I even find myself acting rude on here and generally I am not that type of guy in real life. Most of the guys on here are not that type of guy either, so just take it with stride.
The one bad virus posted was an Asian variant (no lie).
"Perception fail" was not meant to be offensive nor rude. 😕 I apologize if you took it that way.
If you're talking about brutal honesty and saying what's on my mind, then yes, I am that type of guy, on here and in real life. Nice to meet you.
Let's lay this to rest guys. I don't think anyone's feelings were hurt (or at least I hope not -- if they were, I apologize). And you're right, bad virus, pre-allo can be a bit of a war zone. I know I've been guilty of joining in numerous times. I do think many of us act differently in the semi-anonymous environment of the internet. In some sense, I think it tells you something about human beings (i.e., that we are, perhaps, not so well-mannered, courteous or even "decent" naturally but only because of social pressures).

Lol, I had no clue it was an asian variant. Also, I am sorry, you are right, I totally made a wrong assumption. In other words, I myself had a perception fail as I assumed your comment was hostile. Thank you for clarifying it. You have earned my respect.
