33R and 3.82, should I retake MCAT

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
3.82 cGPA
4.00 sGPA
12P/10V/11B/ R
good extracurriculars/volunteering(8 years @ hospital)/leadership
UT Austin Business Major
ethnicity: asian

I want to get in either UTSW or BCM
Should I retake MCAT? I feel 33 looks a bit too low for either one of them

However, their website says their average score is 33.30 and 33.12 respectively for UTSW and BCM
I feel like that average isn't true however...

No, you should not retake. Your gpa is higher than both of their averages, and your MCAT is on par for who they accept. Your numbers are great. Make sure your ECs and personal statement are good and then enjoy entering the class of 2017.

I think your ECs, LORs, PS, and interview skills will have more to do with whether you're accepted at those schools, considering that you'll pass their stats screening.

With a 3.8 GPA, you'd be out of your mind to retake a 33 MCAT.
