I think instead of focusing on applying DO you need to apply to many more MD schools, specifically less top-tier MD schools. You are obviously an outstanding applicant stat-wise, but top-tier MD admission is super competitive and brutal. Best of luck!

And might you or have any suggestions for why I only got three interviews? I want to make every effort to address weaknesses as this is the last year for my MCAT.

How many hours did you have last cycle with food distribution?

Entering last year's cycle, I had 230 hours across two different organizations, with 200 more anticipated. During interviews, I talked about continued work within the org or updated schools with a letter (+100 hours) if it was not directly mentioned in the interview.

I do not know why you only had 3 interviews but you should have more with a larger school list. I do not see any weaknesses in your application.
You could try some DO schools such as ACOM, Touro-NY, NYITCOM, WESTERN, TUCOM-CA, AZCOM, CCOM , DMU-COM, PCOM Georgia and the VCOMs

The logical fallacy here is your phrase “only 3 interviews”. That’s a good number!
Lowering the sights a bit from top 20 to schools clustered around your stat range could help.
Loving to cook and being interested in nutrition can be an avocation or interest all on its own, you don’t have to feel obligated to tie it back to medicine

Needle-turning to me is getting the 150 hours. It may help you stay in the game longer, but by itself, it doesn't mean I would want to interview you.

Without reading your personal statement, it seems like you possibly didn’t answer the question “why medicine” and answered “why i like service” or “why i like cooking”

Look at your PS and you’ll be golden for an acceptance!

I hope to emphasize those things more as a catalyst for me to reconsider my motivations, which I hope the rest of my PS addresses and clarifies. I want it to tell the story of who I was, who I became, why I changed courses, and how my clinical experiences now validate my choice to change, which drives my career aspirations going forward. i would make the first three things 1-2 paragraphs and the rest of the PS how your clinical experiences validate your choice to change
