Just curious, how much volunteer experience do you guys have? I spoke with one of their counselors, and they said that many of the applicants have thousands and thousands of hours. I myself have only 1500 hours.

600 hours of research, 1000+ hours work experience, 25 hours shadowing. I thought I was in pretty good shape. I'm starting to worry though as people have been receiving interviews from many of these schools.
I wonder if I had a spelling error in my personal statement or something. Ha.
And I'll probably have to cancel the Midwestern interview as I read on here that you need 4 credit hours of anat and physiology for them, and I only have 3 of each.

Does your school only offer 1 semester without lab? If a 2nd semester is available, maybe you could take the second semester prior to matriculation. I would call and ask Midwestern if this would be acceptable. Good luck 🙂
Does your school not offer a lab with anat/phys? That would be unusual.
My school doesn't have a lab with physiology. But luckily I'm not applying to schools that require the lab.

So I FINALLY got the second letter of recommendation from a science professor. Right away UPenn and WesternU my app will be sent to the committee for review. And on the 27th I have my first interview at Nova.. Hopefully smooth sailing from here!!

OHSU finally showing some activity on AADSAS. Other than that, been pretty quiet lately.
A lot of schools don't even update your status on AADSAS. UPenn sent me a letter that even said your status will not be changed throughout the application process haha. Only 2 of 8 have actually updated my AADSAS. Just stick to checking your email every waking minute of the day!! 😀
I did, but it wasn't good news lol. Rejected on Sept 24.
I havent heard from them yet, personally. but I interviewed with someone who has an interview with them soon and he is an OOS applicant... so they have started extending invites

Oh, I just realized mine changed to "Thank you for Applying to Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Your application has been received and it is complete at this time." instead of that long message. wonder what that means haha
Yup, I have the same thing lol. I think it's been like that for a few weeks already though. Well in SDN world, everyone is probably gonna say it's a silent rejection 😛
Mine has said that since 7/23 and I interviewed there last year.
Just applied to NYU today. Too late but oh well. Three interview is not enough IMO for an acceptance. Also, anyone applying for HPSP? Just started my application this weekend and shooting to have it in by next week.
where did you get the application? I have been trying to contact recruiters but have only gotten some generic emails back that say nothing but thanks for your interest.
it took me over a month to get in touch with my recruiter and for him to meet me. Just keep at it. Meanwhile, get 3 LOR tailored for the military, copy of DAT, Transcript, birth certificatea and SS# and start your essay,
