Hey all,
Im trying to decide who to ask for my 3rd LOR. I have a letter from a vet I worked for, a letter from my former academic advisor (she retired at the end of last semester) who is also a vet, and im wondering who to ask for my last LOR. My options are...
A. Professor I had for 4 classes within my major, Equine Science, last year. Each class I did extremely well in. I also house-sit the prof's dog and 3 cats while shes away and shes the academic advisor for the Horsewomen's Association for which I am president. She has a PhD in animal nutrition with an emphasis in equine.
B. Chair of the Equine Department and Vice President of Academic Affairs. She taught an introductory equine class my first semester which I did extremely well in. She is also the prof for my senior project class that I am doing a publishable research project for in equine nutrition, but wont really get started on it until October. I also do my work study as her office assistant and have worked very closely with her 7-8 hours a week for the last year. She also has a PhD in animal nutrition with an emphasis in biochemistry.
Each of them, I know, would be more than willing to write the letter for me and would write a "glowing" LOR, just not sure which one to go with... Anyones opinion would be greatly appreciated.
