Hey everyone,
My office is two MDs and one OD and we currently work 4 and 1/2 days a week; each of the surgeons operate on Monday and Tuesday of every week. The "half day" really is only about 10-12 patients per person and they are a lot of full exams that overlap, stressing out the tech flow and getting us all behind. At the end of the morning, it takes us till past 12 to see these few patients.
have any of you guys gone to the 4 day work week or alternating 5 and 4 day weeks? I know out employees would welcome it and i think dispersing these friday patients would not be difficult even if we started a bit eralier or stayed later on one or two days.
Any pros and cons of doing this?
