So close!! I have a 30+ page research paper due on Tuesday that I've been putting off to make sure these last few days fly by lol. I think I'll start that tomorrow.

I am dying!!! I have a Physics test monday, and a 15 page research paper due. After December 1st I will be able to focus finally.
How does one find out exactly? Will they update aadsas at like 12am on the 1st? do they call the students? do they send u an email? do they postal mail you? and are the students bound to get the acceptances on the FIRST or do some schools do it on the 2nd, 3rd..etc.

All schools vary. Some email (at various times), some call, some snail mail. I really don't think many schools I applied to give us notice on the 1st, so I'm not sure why I am so excited.
ME TOO!! I just had a meeting with my pre-dent adviser and she is concerned for me this semester. She has been checking in with my professors to find that I am barely passing my classes! Ordinairly I am a good,A.O-B.O student, but right now she is worried about my possible C.O gpa for the semester, and I don't know how to turn myself around and get back on track...
I have not been able to maintain my focus at ALL this semester and I can only blame the application processs. Dental School is all I can think about right now, and I can't seem to find the cure to make me focus on my classes now 🙁 I am SOO worried that I have dug my own grave at this point... I might even get 'revoked' if I even get accepted at all (according to my pre-dent adviser!)
I honestly believe that an acceptance is the only way for me to turn around and do some good this semester... If not, then what's the point?

If you're interested in specializing, some schools look at undergraduate. Hopefully that will kick your butt into gear. For me, I never really got senioritis because I wanted to finish with 4.0s. Just find something to work for, even if it doesn't really matter, convince yourself that it does.

Do you guys know how Midwestern notifies applicants (both rejection and acceptance)? It seems as though they were pretty good about getting everyone who had a pre-Dec interview on Dec 1st and I hope its not by snail mail.

I had one pre-dec interview, so Dec 1st will really be a crapshoot for me. All throughout the interview, the intervier kept asking me why the school where i did my masters degree wouldn't want me. I wonder if that's a hint that I should be considering my other options.... might be reading too much into it tho.

stop being so dramatic. suck it up, focus on your classes, and don't fret. there's no point. there's plenty of people that apply after senior year for their first time or second time. and they will look at your grades then. yes, there is point, unless you're giving up if you don't get in this round.

Well, the good news is that I feel really confident in this application cycle. I think I really do have a strong chance of getting in to the schools that I interviewed with, but the problem is that there is a chance of getting revoked (according to pre-dent adviser).
The sad part is that I know what has to be done to work out the rest of the semester, I just don't have the motivation to get there.
Anyway, only a couple more days until we find out. Until then, I need to bust it in the books and get the semester conquered!

Nope, Dec 1st is acceptances. They usually send out rejections asap or some schools lag the rejections until May - August.
