Hey, I have a rather involved question. 😉
Okay, here we go...

I am currently participating in a program called "Running Start" in WA state where I take classes full time at a community college, but earn both college and high school credit. By the time I am done, I will have my Associate of Arts, all paid for by my school distrcit!! 😀

So, I am grappling with a decision. Should I apply to U of Washington (which I know will accept my 2-year degree) and finish my last 2 years as an undergrad and then apply to med school, OR should I try to apply to a BA/MD which I am not sure would honor my A.A?

BTW, what do you guys think about U of Washington's premed, and what do you think/hear about their medical school? Thanks for you time! 🙂

You don't have to have BS or BA to apply to med school. so, it's definitely Ok to apply with an AA. just make sure that you at least have all the pre-reqs, EC and research exp like everybody else.

UW is #1 ranked in primary care. but they are really strong in research too (I think #6 or 7). It's one of those well-balanced schools. A friend of mine is doing neuro residency in UW (she turned down Yale and Harvard). Bottom line - it's a great school, go for it!!
