With my current degree plan, I need to take Introductory Bio 1 and 2 this upcoming summer. I can take it through my 4-year uni, which only offers it online for the summer, or I can take it through my local community college in-person. Which is looked at as better?

For context, I will still be taking Intro Bio Lab and 1 more year of upper-division Bio in-person anyways. This will be Genetics and Anatomy(which I’ll take the semester after I apply). Should I add Molecular Biology too for Senior year to be safe and have 1.5 years on upper-division Bio?

As far as I understand it, most medical schools require a certain number of biology classes. I'm sure an upper-level biology class would count for the requirements, but make sure you meet the total minimum number of biology credits or look at specific schools and their policies on accepting online credits.

Answer depends a bit on reputation; in person is always preferred to online, but if the course would be significantly easier taken at a CC then online, then adcoms might penalize you for that. I think online is fine, and also the more upper division courses you have, the better
