Hi, I was just wondering anyone here 40 yrs above still pursuing their dream OR you guys think its a waste of time?
I am 43 mother of 2, graduated from dental school from Pakistan almost 20 yrs back but still want to pursue getting a dental degree here.
Meanwhile, i got a degree in HR and working but the passion for dentistry still bugging me ...Any input will be appreciated 🙂 And yes I know I'm Crazy 😛

No, you are not. When I attended IV at USC, I met people who are my father's age (50 plus). I was really amazed to see their passion. I felt small being around them. Its never too late. You at least know what you are passionate about. Many do not realize it until its actually late. Work on your profile and shoot it. Good luck 🙂

Thank you so much , I intend to follow my dreams and hopefully will not retreat 🙂

I am still hopeful to get where I want to be. The only problem for older students is financial burden, we simply have less years to practice to be able to pay off loans and save for the retirement. IDP programs now run around 200-250K, plus the cost of living
