Trying to figure out what to do with this alphabet soup I have myself in.

Short version is this:
Work at one Children's hospital in the area as my major source of employment, by my group is a private practice that's got the contract for the PICU there, so I'm contributing to a 401(k) there, maxing out contributions, have a pretty reasonable employer match, etc., etc., no issues there.

Got picked up recently at the other children's hospital in the area doing PRN shifts with the sedation service for some extra cash flow, but I'm an employee of the hospital so it's a non-profit and I got automatically enrolled in a 403(b), but there is also an option to enroll in a 401(a) as well, which I'm unfamiliar with and am not seeing any particular advantage to using, but was hoping someone with more knowledge might confirm that assertion.
