do you still get an hour for 46 questions on the real deal?
Yes, you get 60 minutes to complete 46 questions per block on the real deal. The NBMEs are different... You get 65 minutes to complete 50 questions on each block. Don't know why they do it that way, but it's just the way it is I guess lol
 
Seems stupid that they would do that but thanks for the clarification. I guess that makes much more sense now.

I also heard that the real exam testing interface is basically the exact same thing as UWorld and not like the NBME software which again seems very pointless.

It's not pointless. The FredV2 software that the free 150 uses is the same as the real deal and cannot by downloaded onto a Mac. If the NBMEs had that same software the NBME would be losing a significant amount of its paying clientele that uses a macintosh. I have no clue why the NBMEs don't have a calculator though...
