4H activities

For those of you that have done 4H (especially a lot of equine stuff), did you list that under animal experience or extracurriculars? I am wondering if I should list some of my 4H education activities (Horse Bowl, Hippology, Horse Judging, etc.) under animal experience or extracurriculars. In case it matters, I did a lot of these activities, and competed (and won) on a national level.

Isn't 4-H great! Not to mention those record books sure come in handy when working on applications. I would definitely list it as animal experience since you were working with and learning about large animals, as well as doing lots of hands on activities with them. Congratulations on all your 4-H accomplishments!

I have such extensive horse experience that I just kind of lumped it in when I listed my experience with horses in Animal Experience. Then, since there is more to 4H than working with animals, I put it in my extracurriculars as its own thing.

I emailed Penn a while ago to ask if 4-H counted as animal experience so that I could keep track and they said yes.
