I was able to secure a general anesthesia elective for the month of September. I was hoping to do a general anesthesia elective in August so I could shine at the September rotation. However, I was only able to secure an obstetric anesthesia elective for the month of August. My question is can I still get the experience/education I need to shine at the September rotation and do you think I will be able to be seen by the important people for acceptance into the residency program by completing the obstetric anesthesia rotation?
