That's right, only 5 more miserable in-house calls for the ICU left, and then a few weeks in the ER. A week of vacation, and my final rotation as an intern is..........elective in ophthalmology!!

At least I'm on this side of the stethoscope. The guy I just admitted to the ICU isn't so lucky. Even as an intern, things could always be worse.

Of course, one of my 5 remaining calls is Easter sunday. Guess I'll have to tell my daughter it will be "Easter Saturday" this year!

Both. I had a root canal with an I&D two days ago.

Ouch. Sounds painful. Well, I have to say that I have not even had the time to go to the dentist. Luckily, the old choppers seem to be holding up. 😀 See?

So did mine. Last Thursday, I ate a Frito, broke a filling, and managed to get an infection. Hurray.

Well, at least you don't have to be on call on both "Easter Saturday" and Easter sunday. I'm post call today, on call again tomorrow for a fun run of Q2 call over the weekend. Oh well, only 4 calls left myself.

I got off for Passover. 😛
