5 years limit!~?

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum & is not ashamed to proclaim my noobness. I've spent countless hours reading the Pre-Dental section on this site & I praise all of you for keeping this vast community so tight & personable. This is my 1st post, & I have quesitons in regards to bluekty's predicaments.

He said that Loma Linda aborted his acceptance after enforcing the "5 years limit". My question is: Is Loma Linda the only school that does this; or do most Dental schools across the nation observe this ricockulous "5 years limit"?

never heard of this until blue posted it up, so maybe not many schools have this policy....or maybe they do but don't follow it strictly???
