500 lbs pt for D+C, what would you do?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Really hard.....
One of mine beauties asked for neighbors help... and amazingly they did it. They kept the legs apart and she was on a dining table - the one that splits for a middle part to be inserted. The "volunteer" ( I bet that was a bet...) was under the table and performed. So please don't say that anesthesia doesn't interact with their patients.

See stories like that are one of the reasons that I like the ability to knock my patient out! Then the entire theatre can enjoy a good laugh, the patient doesn't know any better and I've (hopefully) gotten it out of my system by the time I have to wake them up and be nice to them in recovery.

Given that obesity is supposed to contribute to infertility - you've got to wonder just how many times that dining table was attacked?

Who the heck knows - the guy was absolutely drunk!!! First time and second time too....Third time the "sponsors" ran out of cash for drinks!
And BTW I am with you - general anesthesia just for my sanity!
For the board - continuous spinal can be one of the answers.
