Apparently the Things I Learned from my Patients thread was linked on "http://boingboing.net", and we are receiving the backlash akin to being Slashdotted.
 
It looks like it is being linked to a bunch of blogs.

Docb is famous and I have a bad feeling the rest of us may be going to HIPAA jail.

Good points from Phud as usual. Since this forum is getting more exposure than it has in the past we should all be very careful about HIPPA and about letting out info that may be politically problematic.

I imagine that many people who don't work in this arena do and will continue to think of us as insensitive. However, this forum functions like a firehouse. We were able to decompress and come to grips with the everyday horrors and humors. It's as close to stress debriefing as many of us can get. I intend to continue to post as before. All names have been changed to protect the guilty.

Its because you got linked at Pbnation, a paintball forum, with 220,000 members. Even though it was only in the 1+ year member forum, i guess a lot of people liked it.

Man, it looks like EM is getting really popular.... I might have to change professions and try my hand at ortho (see post about EM being ortho dropouts).
