of note, it has been 24hrs and i am OK!

not a bad way to go out, if it has to happen.
I opened this thread hoping for a story about these 5 guys who did EM-worthy stuff to people who were sitting on the corner minding their own business. Boy am I disappointed.

You need a better sense of perspective. On-call or night shift, 5 Guys burgers and the Cajun fries makes the shift a good EM experience, and a far superior intellectual exercise than thinking about SOCMOB.
I just sprinkle my Zocor on top of the bun.
5 Guys was a local burger joint, and now they are spreading nationwide. I was just down in Tampa (I live in DC) a few weeks ago, and they just got down there. It has only been 15 months since I left Tampa and residency, and they're spreading like herpes.
Which is good. Because I like them.
5 Guys, not Herpes.

Five guys is pretty much my ideal of how a burger should be. They even make well done good, and I have never had a good well done burger before.

At at one for the first time today. Wife had the cheese dog, I had a bacon cheeseburger, and we shared cajun fries. And because they put entirely too many in there, I also shared some fries with the sea gulls.
Good stuff.

never heard of it..
Blasphemy! Pure blasphemy!never heard of it..
I didn't realize it, but there's a 5 Guys about 5 minutes from my apartment, actually pretty near to the Steak 'n Shake.
Finally made it to 5 guys. Worth it - every penny.
Cheeseburger Bobby's in Atlanta is much better than Five Guys (if that's possible), but the top burger joint I've ever eaten at has got to be Gourmet Burger Kitchen in London. Nothing like Scottish Angus beef! Finally made it to 5 guys. Worth it - every penny.
I think 5 Guys and In-N-Out are both a bit overrated. I guess I prefer slightly higher end burgers. I really miss The Counter in Santa Monica.
OK, and Jack in the Box (more for the breakfast and the shakes though).

some dude, my friend, that bitch.
I need a little location help, please.
The true hallmark of a small Texas town is the presence of a Dairy Queen.
How wide spread are these guys?
Take care,
Jeff
Here in Minnesota we have roughly the same number of DQ's as Starbucks it looks like...

South east (SC, NC, VA) have them, but sparsely and more commonly in smaller towns.
A decent amount of DQs in NE Illinois.I need a little location help, please.

5 guys, was in miami for 4 months, forgot to try it, none where i am now 🙁
Dairy Queen, northeast NJ/NY used to be very popular, not quite as much but tons of soft/hard icecream stands, more mom and popish and some very very good...ahhh the Bellvale Creamery, best icecream I ever had!

your small town texas DQ does have a different feel to it, though. My whole family is from various small towns in texas and when I would visit the only fast food place that they seemed to be aware of was the DQ.

Oh I love Five Guys! Best burgers around. I actually was just in California for the first time and tried the legendary In N Out, and wasn't that impressed. Sorry. And no, I didn't order from the menu...

They are becoming extinct in south Alabama.
I keep hearing so much about this In N Out from friends. Also just heard about 5 guys like 4 months ago. Sounds like I have been behind on the times.
I had one for the first time last week. Fries were great but we have better burgers at Cook-out.
See, I like Cook-Out, but I liked 5 guys better. Go fig.

To go with the Cook-Out, they are opening a 5 guys across from our hospital soon.
Great, now we have that as well.

I just discovered Five Guys like 1 month ago.... I just moved to a new apartment and they're right across the street!
I think after I nap tonight (for a night shift), I'll wake up and go work out and then go to Five Guys!

Omg...I heard they've opened up 2 of them in Vancouver. Can't wait to go try them next time I'm back home. 👍
5 guys fries were voted worst regular fries in this article http://health.yahoo.net/experts/eatthis/americas-worst-french-fries-and-what-you-should-eat-instead/
Glad somebody decided to bump this. The wife and I had Five Guys tonight.
I was at an away site office this morning. There is a 5guys right by it.
I was going to stop for lunch, but i had a noon meeting at the hospital which included food.
I get back and the meeting was canceled. No free food.
I was pissed.
The lesson is I should have went to 5 guys anyway.

I'm confused: should it be 5 guys or In-N-Out which replaces the pizza on my next non-professional visit?

Why "either/or"? How about "both and"?
There aren't any states that have both, so it depends on where you live.I'm confused: should it be 5 guys or In-N-Out which replaces the pizza on my next non-professional visit?
