Hey guys,

So I was thinking about getting my LOR from
-Biochemistry professor
-Chemistry professor
-Research advisor in the Chemical Engineering Department (any opinions on this???) - will she count as a non-science instructor since I've never had her as a professor or will she count as a 3rd science instructor since she is my research lab advisor? Is she considered "science" under the chemical engineering department? I'm guessing definitely not liberal arts...

-General dentist

But I know for a few schools, they want a LOR from biology professors and/or liberal arts classes. Could I get LORs from these professors to be sent via snail mail to the specific schools that want them from the specific department professors as the *5th* LOR?

I don't want to waste any LOR I can send via AADSAS on professors that do not know me as well.

Will the DS not even look at my snail mail?
Will it put a delay on my application review?

Correct me if Im wrong but I think the Max LOR's are 3 through AADSAS

i will gladly correct you. the maximum is 4. schools will not accept letters that dont come through aadsas, so you'll have to figure out how to make 4 work for you. the only other thing is not all schools absolutely abide by those LOR requirements. choose your 4, then contact the school that you think you dont meet requirements for and see if they can give an exception.

Thanks guys, had a chat with my pre-health advisor and got it all figured out...
I think I'm getting too anxious and antsy with applications opening this summer haha.

Thanks!

I sent in snail mail/email LORs to multiple schools because many schools require them from different areas, I was accepted at mutiple schools and had conversations about my lor writers at all interviews

I also sent in a LOR from my mythology professor to NOVA by snail mail. I was accepted there so there wasn't any problem with mailing it separately!
