5th year of undergrad????

ok so i messed up my freshman year and i didnt take as many hours as i should have, i had a good gpa though. but i still need to take a ton of science classes and i dont want to rush anything cause i go to a military school (A&M) and was wondering if a 5th yr would benifit me to spread out the science courses so i can make better grades?

Go for it. Giving yourself the necessary time to do well can only help. Plus, it's a whole 'nother year to pack in the EC's and build up the intangibles.
