Hello all,

Taking step 2 in 6 days. On a tutor mode block of ob/peds/cards/resp was in the mid 60's. Probably in the low 60's on randoms. Have 64% left of World. Suggestions for best use of time? Tutor mode blocks of weak subject areas? Random timed to see where I stand? Random tutor + memorize deja review?

I am looking to pass, field I am going into doesnt give a hoot about step 2.

Should have taken this damn thing after 3rd year ended.....haven't seen a patient since June '09.

Help/thoughts anyone?

Just do as many questions on world as possible, whether that is tutor mode or regular. Eat, sleep, and do questions. That's my $.02

Yeah I echo thoughts from Ron.

Just keep plugging away at UW, and I guess I'd run through FA once more or whatever general review source you're using. Keep plugging away bro you're almost there.

Thanks for the encouragement guys - it really helps. Do you or anyone know what kind of percent on random timed blocks I should be hitting to be in the passable range? i know it varies from block to block, but maybe a ballpark estimate might help. My issue of FA says for step 2 passing was getting 60-70% of questions right...kind of a broad range no?

Not sure. But if you're getting in the 70s you have an excellent shot at a great score.

Yeah I was kind of 50's-60's and I ended up doing pretty good on Step 2 (upper 240's).
