Today I did my first practice exam under "exam timing / conditions", and my average average over the 4 block exam UW Self Assessment exam was 61.5% (estimated 220)

My exam date is Dec 3rd; am I on track to score 240 or higher assuming I study 4-6 hrs / day?

So, dedicate more than 6hr / day to get there?

Yeah...unfortunately the time spent per day is more predictive than the amount of days. Or at least, that is what a couple med schools have reported after research into their student's study habits.

Interesting.... 👍

Congrats on your 234 score. It is respectable and will open many doors for you. Surgery is certainly and option and so is GAS if you apply widely. This is all under the assumption that you honour your core rotations and procure strong LOR from prominent faculty.

Although your step score is a significant factor, your performance in your core rotations is just as important.
