So I had a question about stuff I did this summer--
I've taught myself how to decorate cakes for the past few years, and it's something I've grown to love. This summer, to get some extra cash, I baked/decorated cakes for birthdays/parties and stuff. It worked well, especially since my research was not paid, and it was a great way for me to relax and have some fun. But it wasn't by any means official-- sort of under the table work, if you will.
Now, I was wondering if there was any way I could (if I should at all) incorporate this at some point into my application-- I really enjoy it, and I feel like it's a hobby that makes me a tad unique. Especially since, quite honestly, I'm pretty boring in every other way. Then again, it's baking. I don't really know if that's something you should put on a med school application...
Thoughts?

Bring a cake with you to your interviews for sugary bribes. Auto admit! :-D
