Hello everyone!
I spent a couple years studying computer engineering at 2 different schools and also some time working a full-time IT job. My grades were relatively low (under 3.0) and littered with W's for various reasons. I have enrolled at a state university as a Biology major after making some major life changes and trying to decide what I'd like to do with my life.
My concern is regarding my previous academic experiences. Even if I do very well in my new school, how much weight will the previous bad grades carry when applying to dental schools? I see that schools want transcripts from ALL previously attended institutions.
Thanks for your input!
Your science gpa will be very high though which would look great.
You should aim for straight A's.
Good luck!! Show dental schools your upward trend in the near future!!! You can do it!! Like doc said, pull couple straight A semesters!!
