um lol...schools are not done handing out interview. I know many people from past years who received 0 invites til after xmas and ended with 7+ interviews and several acceptances (YES with average or below stats).
Even if schools WERE done handing them out...worrying about it won't make anything better. Go about your daily life. If a school wants to talk to you, they'll email you.

Not the case for me...3 interview invites last 2 weeks and all gave me the option to come in early DECEMBER so...
so you do not fall into that category good for you. but others might be. if you find it difficult to comprehend, or share, dont bother replying, and let someone else who is more altruistic share.
we do not need to know how great your application is 🙄

I don't think UAA was trying to wave his amazing application in people's faces... just saying that not all schools are done handing out December interviews quite yet. Although from following numerous threads, I do think that this is the exception rather than the rule at this point. You might get lucky if someone cancels. Having received 4 interview invites this month myself, they have all been for January dates. And other schools are even further along.. Temple is into February now.
But all that being said, there really is no point in worrying. As lowly pre-meds, we don't have much power or control over the process. I always feel like a fish on a hook.
Thank you. Threads like this horrify people and make them worry over NOTHING. And I don't have "amazing" stats...30 mcat if you must know. So there! 😉 😛

Realize this! If you are a senior...this is your last chance to be a crazy college kid and enjoy your undergrad life. I for one am working hard in school...but you better belief I am relaxing and having tons of fun my last year here.

To add to UAA, I too have just recently received 3 more invites after two months of complete silence. And my stats are not crazy high. Invites are still coming --even to us regular folks. This thread is sort of silly because we are merely fanning the flames of fear for one-another. We have no idea when invites close (save those schools that articulate that info clearly). Those that schools that do articulate that info, probably don't stop inviting people until atleast January or February.

As mentioned above, I know Nevada only recently started interviews (I met an interviewee randomly on the campus shuttle the other day... could be another SDNer!) and doesn't start acceptances until Jan or Feb. (they do everything really late)

Actually- that was the exact intention of the OP. Finding out where specific schools are in the interview process. I thought you would have figured that out with a 39 mcat 😉 . He even put a section for "Interviews before Dec 31 available"...therefore Nevada falls in that category

Many/most schools aren't scheduling anything prior to 12/31.
The good:
1. Many/most schools have yet to send out invitations for all of their interview spots.
2. People already holding an acceptance are probably going to start declining some of these late interviews, so the interview pool should expand.

Okay I'll contribute what I know from personal experience even though this info could easily be garnered just by reading the individual school threads in the School Specific Discussion forum.

Yeah that's why I thought the thread was somewhat pointless. Easier to get the most up to date info from the school specific threads.
Last week Jefferson was booked until January.
UF is somewhere in December/January as well.

I think we can add Albany to the list. When I received an interview invite from there last week, only spots they had available were for late January/early February.

I also read that Albany has been sending out HOLDs on decisions which will be re-reviewed in January. I wonder if they can fit people on that hold list with interviews now that its already in early Feb.

When I saw I was on Hold at Albany I just assumed it was the same as a rejection?
You think there's any hope for hold status? Not too sure on how Holds work

To be honest, I dont have an inkling what the hold means. I know that I read (probably on Albany thread) that some people were on HOLD, while others seemed to receive a "re-review" in January...
Ask your friend? Perhaps she/he might know more.
I think each school is different, but if I were you, I would probably consider a pre-interview HOLD to be decently bad news because most schools do post-interview WLs anyway. So you would fall in the "first-waitlist"...
I have a friend at Albany, but hes a PharmD and hes so unwilling to go over to medicine and help me check whats been going on. lolz.
