FRAPPED...not that bad, the ethics passage in the RC wasnt THAT BAD. the paragraphs were short anyway. just oddball questions in general in BIO section

for what it's worth, i am a minority; i'm hoping that those scores are at least enough to keep my application alive and keep schools from automatically discarding...what do you guys think???

of course, definitely a re-take since all you machines out there post your amazing scores, i'm sooo jealous. Just kind of relieved that it's over, at least for a little....

ran out of time/just fatigued in general for QR...you really have to move on that section!!

biggest mistake is using ONLY kaplan online. wonder how i got 18 on bio since everyone trashes kaplan's bio, so i guess i faired alright in that respect.

oh well lesson learned. i will definitely take some wisdom from SDN and use destroyer next time around.
applied to around 10 schools (ohio resident), mostly in OH, PA, NY/midwest

i'm not feeling horrible about it, just not overly thrilled

Well, your scores are somewhat consistent. Using destroyer should help you out, and open your mind to new questions. Now you know what the test is like, so you'll have a better idea of what to cover for your re-take. Start studying harder now, and retake in the fall, so that schools that still have your app might see your improvement. You can do it! Good luck.

On another note, the minority status thing doesn't really mean much. Scores are scores, and everyone is held to the same standard to do well.

i think your status will all depends on your other stats.
avg. DAT scores of getting into d-school are around 19-20 ish and GPA is around 3.4-3.5 ish.
so considering that most of your scores are below avg., you will need higher GPA (maybe around 3.6) to be considered solid.

although numbers aren't everything, i also recommend re-take on DAT. take bit of time off and start studying for your second round! im pretty sure you'll do much better since you are more familiar with the test

Don't get discouraged believe in yourself and you'll do better next time. you should use achiever for Orgo and G chem concepts are explained well for all solutions to questions.
