how's it going all?! interviews?

i decided to start a thread like the others except for a 7/22 mailing date!!! let's keep eachother company and calm our nerves! 🙂

i've pretty much heard from all 25 schools i've applied to except Temple and USC. what about y'all?
 
I'm in the 7/22 mailing date also! I am in the same situation...heard from every school I applied to except Temple and USC. As for interviews, I got none 🙁. I'm still getting "application complete" emails. How are things looking on your end?

wow good to know! i was starting to freak b/c everyone is talking about the Temple secondary! but ya i pretty much have recieved completed/under review from all schools except the two i mentioned.

and no interviews 🙁

Same! Did you fill out all your secondaries and submit them?
 
I applied to only cali schools and heard from all of them except UCLA and USC (which i dont even care about anymore and never really wanted to go there...i just wasted money applying haha)
 
i got app complete emails from columbia, tufts, and penn....haven't heard anything from maryland or UCLA and no interviews yet.....ahhhhh this waiting period is terrible 🙁 i liked it more when i had some control over things... 😛

hey what did the subject line say for Columbia? I got an email saying they recived my application and fee and that I will be given every consideration. I am wondering is that the same you got. Also, did you have three sci letters that Columbia requires? I only have two 🙁 and the other one is from literature and a dentist

ive heard from everyone except USC and Temple.

I also have sent in all my secondaries except Loma Linda which I am in the process of doing!

hopefully we will start hearing from places soon? **shrugs**
 
I've got one interview, from UCONN, and from everyone else, I've just received secondaries. I haven't heard anything from UCLA. I hope they get to reviewing our batch soon!!

Yepp that's the e-mail I got 🙂 I have 3 bio professor letters. I am having the same concerns with other schools though. For instance, Maryland wants one bio and one chem (only have bio :/) so we will see!

yeahh i hope they arent all crazy about it. And for Maryland I think you'll be good considering your stats! hell you might get away with a misdemeanor or two haha 😉

yayy finally got the "app received" e-mail from maryland! now just waiting to hear aaaanything from UCLA......

I wonder how many ppl like vivipredent are out there... there cant be more than a handful, there just cant be... atleast thats what i like to tell myself hahaa....
 
called midwestern today to ask about my app...got a rejection over the phone 🙁they told me my gpa was way too low and that they rejected me about a week ago they just haven't sent out official notifications yet.

greatttttttttttttttttttttttttt 🙁

well, i just got rejected from Nova through snail mail. Great start.

Just called USC and they said that they haven't received any applications from AADSAS yet.

on UCLA's website it says they don't start reviewing apps until october....guess it will be a long time waiting before anyone hears from cali schools!

Interview w/ Nova 11/4 (said I would receive an email confirmation of my interview time after it was scheduled, but haven't gotten that yet, I'll probably call to follow up)

Haven't received UCLA secondary yet either!

Anyone hear back from NYU, Case, Indiana, UNLV?

I got an application complete from ucsf but thats all this week so far :'(

nope. their status on AADSAS is something like "we will email you the secondary. This can take several weeks." Apart from that, I didn't get anything yet.

I'm in the same boat as ParleG...AADSAS says they have recieved my app but no secondary as of yet 🙁

and the WORST is no interviews :'(
 
BU invite this morning! First invite ever! It was scheduled for Dec 2 though, which worries me
 
Thanks for the responses. I have that same message on aaddas for temple.
 
Also, don't worry about not getting interviews yet. They will cone soon enough. It is still early!

i got this email. and im hoping for the best as well:xf:
i also got a rejection from UNLV today 🙁 im really hoping the clouds start parting soon and i at least get ONE interview!

When did you submit your secondary application? And when did they email you to confirm completion of your file?

I'm not sure of the exact date I completed the supplemental but my mailing date was 7/22 so I believe it was late July. I received an app complete email from BU on Aug 2. Good luck! I'm sure you guys will hear again from them soon
