7/8 casper

Hi, this is my first post on here, but I wanted to ask about my 7/8 casper test date, because I know the earlier you take it the better, but 7/8 is the next possible one.
I submitted my primary on 5/29 and am already verified, but am now worried as 8 of my schools require casper, and if I test on 7/8, receiving the score 2-3 weeks later would be 7/22-7/29. I wanted an honest opinion on how this could impact my success at those schools given I receive a secondary and submit within the recommended 2 week time frame. While I still plan to submit them asap, I just wanted some input on my situation.


Also, here are the schools that I am applying to that require it:


Boston University Aram V. Chobanian & Edward Avedisian School of Medicine

Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine

California University of Science and Medicine

Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell

Drexel University College of Medicine

Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine (HMSOM)

New York Medical College

Rush University Medical College


It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could share info on whether any of these schools will still review my application (with submitted secondary) before receiving the casper score. Or on the other hand, info on which schools will absolutely not review the application without the score.

You can’t go back in time and take it earlier so take it when you can. This is not a test you need weeks to study for

It will just be the last thing complete if you get your secondaries in promptly. You will be early

Did they tell you when they wanted your scores?

We have been posting the names of schools that require Casper for the last few years as it is public knowledge. They tell prospective applicants you have to take Casper well before the cycle begins, and dates opened up in the spring. You don't need to study, but you do need to familiarize yourself with the platform.
