Does it make that much of difference when it comes down to acceptance or interview invites?

I took mcat three times. First time i took it, it was in a paper format and i got 8 on verbal without ANY studying. However, when MCAT changed into CBT, my verbal score significantly dropped because i was having problems with reading convoluted verbal passages on computer(also not being able to write a note right next to it). Unfortunately, my verbal score dropped down to 7 on my third mcat (but improved from 6 on my second). I have pretty solid application (though not stellar) except for my verbal score, and I am beginning to wonder how my low verbal score will affect my chance. Also, English is not my native language, but I came to the state when I was really young, so I don't like giving that excuse (I am still a permanent resident tho).

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It's probably not a big difference unless you're screened out by a school because of it.

Other than that, I'd buy the MSAR so you can see where your the schools you are interested in cut off.

I also scored worse on the verbal the second time i took the mcat because it changed to computer which really messed me up since i didnt practice the verbal section on the computer. you should apply to schools that take the individual best sections from your mcats. I did and I just got in today!
