I currently have 7 W's. 5 out of those 7 came during my first 3 years of undergrad when I was in community college. I working a lot and under stress due to the financial status of my family. I got a 3.2 in community college, then transferred to a UC and graduated with a 3.9 in Biology in 2016. My overall went from a 3.2 to a 3.5.
I then started working while taking online CC courses to pad my GPA. I was able to raise my science/overall GPA to a 3.6 but got 2 W's one semester because I was taking 6 classes and my work hours increased to full time
The classes I received W's in are Personal development, english, history, cultural anthro, kinesiology, native american history, and archaeology. None of these W's were in science courses. I have retaken PD, english, and cultural anthro and got A's in those classes
Will adcoms look past this since I have a huge upward trend and great EC's?
