I heard from a program coordinator that there are over 700 applicants in pathology this year, up from 400+ last year. It will be interesting to see what the final official numbers are. I'm glad she told me that since I was thinking of canceling even more interviews - Bad idea! Birmingham, here I come!

I heard from a PD that there were 480+ AMG applicants. Don't know about the IMGs. Whew!
Wild. As some of you may know, UCLA's go-to-hell letter says they got over 200 applicants for like 8 slots. That's just jacked up.
Here I think we also had well over 200 applicants for the 6 spots. And at least 120 were US grads, if I remember right.
